Installation was straight forward. Took me less than an hour, including the computer part and the actual installation.

Now I can enjoy my convertible like how it was intended.

Well worth the money!

I never thought anything would work so great. This unit performs EXACTLY as advertised. An option, in my opinion, Porsche should have already had enabled for US vehicles.

Module was super easy to install and did everything it was advertised to do. Customer service was superb! I called to verify the item, placed the order online, and the item arrived 3 days letter. Absolutely recommend the module! A must have for Targa owner.

I ordered a Smart Top controller for a Porsche 911 and got one for a Mazda MX-6. I called and immediately got a real person and they immediately sent out the correct product. Once I got the correct part I was very satisfied with how easy it was to install and the functionality that it adds to my cabriolet.

Purchased the Smart Top unit after watching the installation video on YouTube. I’m am not all good with DIY projects but decided I would do the install myself. I followed the video beginning to end and although it’s a little tricky mounting the unit under the top, everything went great. It works perfectly and other than switching a wiring harness there is no wiring or cutting needed. I would highly recommend this product for any car owner with a convertible top.

The actual value of the extra money you spent to get a convertible can be measured in the amount of time you spend driving with the top down (or the % of that time). Having the ability to put the top up or down while driving dramatically helps as you pull in and out of the parking lot, but being able to drop the top while you walk up to the car, and having it be one touch (instead of holding the button down) increases the amount of time i spend with the top down even more!! At this point i find my self leaving the top down more (can just put the windows up as i walk away) or merely putting it up and down more often.. I find myself driving with the top down about 2x as often now, which is a great increase on the return of the money i paid to have a convertible in the first place. Not to mention really useful features like "auto-mute on start" so my co-workers don't have to hear my radio blasting when i first start the car!!
