I had been considering this mod for a couple of years, during which time I investigated all available reviews. I also connected by email to identify my specific issues and concerns. The response was fast and answered my questions and concerns. My first thought was to just send one item for mod but made the decision to send my radio Panel as well. The modifications were completed and shipped for return to me within two days of MotiveMods receiving them. They work perfectly. I couldn't be happier with dealing with MotiveMods. Excellent service!

You'll have confidence the encoder is giving you solid results.  No more doing "safe cracker" fiddling to set the desired heading, altitude, etc.   If you take your simulator seriously, the updated encoder mod is well worth the investment.

Customer service is excellent with almost immediate replies to my text questions. The upgrade was performed in less than one day and the the Multi Panel  has now been restored to 100% working condition and is performing perfectly. Highly recommended if you can no longer adjust your altitude or heading due the failure of the original encoder. I will submit my Radio Panel for the same procedure at the 1st sign of failure.

I, along with many others. purchased their external panels. It wasn't long that I discovered that two of the three that I purchased had bad control knobs. They were supposed to act the same way as a "real aircraft knob" basically an outer knob for "large changes" in frequency and the smaller one for "units" and "decimal" numbers. For me, it ruined the "simulator experience" because the act of changing frequency was taking too long, and had to hit "Pause" in order to accomplish the change.
I discovered that other pilots who ordered the Saitek panels had the same problems, and they recommended a "fix" by sending the offending panels to "www.MotiveMods.com" I found the whole exercise a pleasant event. Customer service, IMHO, was great! Since I was in no great rush, I just used Canada Post's slowest delivery option, and MM, did the repair with a one day turnaround and used USPS for return shipping. All in all, I'd rate this company as 5/5! And I have no reservations about recommending anyone with defective panels to MotiveMods!

Fantastic product. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for: installation is child's play and you end up with a whole new product in terms of usability. Tactile feedback is just excellent, and needless to say, all precision issues are resolved. It's also a solid improvement aesthetics-wise.

For me, the tactile feedback and added precision add to the immersion factor. The ease of shipping the units out and letting MM do the upgrades for me makes this one of the best product/services for enhancing my flight sim experience, thus far. My Saitek panel has been converted from a toy to a piece of Professional grade instrumentation. I love it.
