When it came time for me to add a Saitek radio penel to support XPNDR and ADF, I went back to MotiveMods.
My cockpit has 3 radio panels and the multi panel. Why? -- the MotiveMods encoders have a solid feel and are reliable. No more "fiddling" when I tune, and not having any distractions is priceless.

I received my radio panel with the replacement frequency encoder and I am exceptionally satisfied with the quality of the product. When I tune the radios in MSFS2020, the frequency encoders work great as it feels as if I am actually adjusting the radio in the cockpit.

Also, I did have a small installation issue when my product arrived, however, the superior customer service response quickly and efficiently resolved me issue.

I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking to add a bit more realism to their flight sim experience.

If you tune your radios manually, you want this	March 21, 2021

The encoder mod has changed radio tuning form finicky to solid. The knobs have a great rubbery feel that gives you confidence your turning is definitely tuning. No wasted time trying to coax the radio to the right frequency.
With the pandemic causing parts shortages and delays, it was worth the wait!

Radio Panel Mod Review	April 24, 2019

These modified radio panels are AWESOME! The knobs are very high quality and have an excellent feel to them.

In addition to the excellent product, MotiveMods was a wonderful company to work with. They were extremely helpful and communicative throughout the whole process, from answering questions before I ordered to keeping me updated on the shipment.

I ordered 1 new panel and sent 1 in for modification. MotiveMods completed the modification on both panels and sent them back to me in one box. The whole process took about 3 weeks, a bit longer than I expected but this was mostly due to shipping delays.

I have both panels setup and working with P3D using Spad.Next. They required no additional configuration and worked right out of the box.

I can’t say enough good things about this product or the company. The mod is high quality and very well done. I highly recommend this mod to truly get the most out of the Saitek/Logitech panels.

Had some issues with shipping to the wrong address, but that's PayPal's fault. Shipping was speedy, both times. I received the upgraded radio panel and tested it the same day. It's working wonderfully out of the box. It wasn't quite plug and play(small driver download). I use X-plane 11 and a home built rig. I have yet to install it permanently in my simulator, but I am impressed by the functionality of the modded panel. Time will tell how well the panel holds up under regular use.

I am thrilled with the upgrade to my Saitek Radio Panel. The tactile effect keeps you in the sim and not fumbling trying to dial in frequencies. The solid click when changing frequencies is much closer to a real radio panel as well. While the upgrade is not inexpensive the value in a more realistic experience is worth the cost.

Upgrade took a bit longer than expected due to some unexpected changes to the board design. Regardless, the communication was solid along the way, and the new encoders look and feel amazing.

Thanks a lot Saitek!	January 4, 2018

I, along with many others. purchased their external panels. It wasn't long that I discovered that two of the three that I purchased had bad control knobs. They were supposed to act the same way as a "real aircraft knob" basically an outer knob for "large changes" in frequency and the smaller one for "units" and "decimal" numbers. For me, it ruined the "simulator experience" because the act of changing frequency was taking too long, and had to hit "Pause" in order to accomplish the change.
I discovered that other pilots who ordered the Saitek panels had the same problems, and they recommended a "fix" by sending the offending panels to "www.MotiveMods.com" I found the whole exercise a pleasant event. Customer service, IMHO, was great! Since I was in no great rush, I just used Canada Post's slowest delivery option, and MM, did the repair with a one day turnaround and used USPS for return shipping. All in all, I'd rate this company as 5/5! And I have no reservations about recommending anyone with defective panels to MotiveMods!
