In my mind, this module is a must for all E93 owners. It absolutely does everything that I wished I could do with my roof and was pleasantly surprised with other features I didn't know I wanted but now I can't live without. Installation was a breeze since it's just plug and play. Being able to turn on and off features through a sequence in the car is also great! This is how the car should have come from the factory!

Installed and programed immediately! All works awesome and no issues.

Warranty is NOT an issue since it has expired and my mechanic told me all is well across the board. do not know what the issue is with the Bimmer forums.

Great addition to my car	January 20, 2015

Took me about 20 minutes to install this in my car. I followed the directions exactly, and everything worked out perfectly. Love the new functionality; the remote control and single button top open/close are definitely worth the money. Strongly recommend!

Installation was relative straight forward and took about 20 minutes. However I did have an issue with the SmartTOP Module indicating an error (Red light flashing). With some excellent support from MotiveMods the problem was sorted in quick time. The issue I had was solved with the removal of the plug cap on the harness that fits into the original BMW Z4 socket. All good, happy with the result, and added functions of the unit. With the experience of removing, and installing the trim several times, the 20 minutes I took to install the Module originally now only takes about 2 minutes.
